This weekend on Long Beach, Long Island they were touting this new beach sport that is a cross between tennis and badminton on the beach. It looked like fun, rumor has it the ball is 6 pounds but there is no way...

Also, came across a site today: amillionlittlepictures.com.
You get to use a disposable camera to take pictures of an adventure and then send it in to this site. They choose a city with the most entries and then host a gallery of the photo's in that city. Time is running out but they will send cameras out until Nov 1. NY is lagging behind California, Texas and Georgia so sign up and get the gallery here. It's $16, money goes to charity, shipping and the gallery.
