Flag of the Week: Construction Style
A blog devoted to the streets of America...View my weekly photo's, tips and walking tours...
Friday, March 13th I said goodbye to the Philadelphia Spectrum. This was somewhere that I spent lots of time when I was younger going to Sixers games and concerts. The arena was awesome to watch games and the Wachovia center has nothing on it. No matter where you sat, it was a good seat.
I'll always remember...Dr. J vs. Larry Bird, Greatest Rap Show Ever, Billy Joel, Grateful Dead, Daryl Dawkins, 1983, losing my voice, painting my face, autographs and so much more...So long...

Ever wish you could go back in time to a diner when they had the soda counter. Well, this wasn't exactly it but it was close. I recently visited Falls Diner in Wappinger Falls, NY while on a little tour of upstate New York. The workers were friendly and the food very good. I definitely recommend it to anyone going through the area.
