I promised another Garfield sighting...
This was found three years ago in Central Park in the pond near Central Park South. Sad what people do to poor Garfield...

I have Gowanus Lounge blog for to thank for pointing me to this spot in Brooklyn. It's amazing how over the years I have found several Garfield stuffed animals in various parts of the city. Today's look is from Carroll Street bridge in Brooklyn, come back tomorrow and you can see another Garfield sighting...

Walking along Madison or near the Rockefeller Center Tree during holidays is never something I recommend but the weather was nice and I was headed to Cirque du Soleil at the Garden so I decided to bring the camera and document my travels...
I pass through Rockefeller Center every day, so seeing the skating and tree in Bryant Park brought another view of the holiday period..

I spent Thanksgiving in Chicago this year and Michigan Avenue was madness. This bike was across from Pottery Barn just hanging in the tree. I'm not sure if it was for decoration or someone really had it locked up there.

Original Destination: Fort Greene
Post Recap: Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Gowanus, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace and Boerum Hill
Having never been to Fort Greene and Clinton Hill we set out for our first experience and were pleasantly surprised. The farmers market at Fort Greene Park was great and a nice size. We found lots of good restaurants and not too many coffee joints. We ate at Mullanes Bar & Grill on Lafayette and had a great meal. We visited My Little India which we thought originally was an Indian restaurant only to find that they have great furniture and home items. We also came across some great views of the Empire State Building from some of the side streets as shown below...

This weeks Flag found on New York Street in Long Beach, Long Island.
Also, came across a site today: amillionlittlepictures.com.
You get to use a disposable camera to take pictures of an adventure and then send it in to this site. They choose a city with the most entries and then host a gallery of the photo's in that city. Time is running out but they will send cameras out until Nov 1. NY is lagging behind California, Texas and Georgia so sign up and get the gallery here. It's $16, money goes to charity, shipping and the gallery.
