I was able to witness the Red Hook vendors for the first time, it would be a shame if they got rid of them. They are a part of the culture and livelihood in Red Hook.

Today's destination was Red Hook, the weather was beautiful and we wanted to partake in the "whatsthehook" project. Rather than take the train or bus we decided to walk from our place and back. 8 miles later we came away with some great shots and found some interesting things.
I wouldn't recommend walking down prospect avenue to Smith or walking past the Smoked Fish building on Smith, it did not smell particularly great.
My wife didn't want me to get too close
Part two coming soon...

This weekend, I didn't get a chance to go on any walks; however, I visited my home town of Philadelphia and caught a Phillies game. The Orioles have Boog's BBQ Pit and we have "The Bull" Luzinski BBQ Pit in Phila.

Some call it Park Slope, some call it South Slope, I call it Greenwood... Lots of new condo's going up around here like Fusion or Shangri-la or Suite Sixteen.

As I am not yet in the digital age, I had to wait to get these photos developed from my trip to Chicago last week...
