Destination: Dumbo, Brooklyn

Graffiti found on Water Street across from Journey Home Store.

Found on Water Street in a loft, this carousel was renovated by Jane Walentas, too over 20 years to restore. It was built in 1922 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company and purchased in 1984 by the Walentases at an auction of a defunct Ohio amusement park. It was originally intended for Brooklyn Bridge Park, but was never given a place there.
