Flag of the Week
While waiting in line today for my Wii Fit, I snapped by Flag photo. This can be found in Rockefeller Center outside the Nintendo World store. Can you believe you still need to wait in line for over an hour to get a Wii Fit....

La Plaza Cultural
On Saturdays walk, we came across La Plaza Cultural on 9th Street an Avenue C. It was a great spot hidden behind awesome willow trees and interesting sculptures on a fence. (see below photos). I came to learn that the park has been renamed for former democratic leader Armando Perez. Anyone walking around the East Village should definitely seek this place out. Its hard to believe it is there.

East Village Walk
Today we took the F train to Delancey and made our way up to 23rd and 6th Avenue. We found a great candy store on Rivington and Orchard. I definately recommend it for anyone that has a sweet tooth. They have everything. We then ventured over through the East Village finding some cool grafitti and sculptures of a running man through some gates. Also, came across some great hidden gardens which I will feature over the next few days...

Burger "King"
The benefits are emerging already with the iphone camera. Burger King was shooting a commercial around the corner from my office today. Unfortunately, there isn't much zoom on the phone and they wouldn't let you cross the street.

Red Hook
Sunday's walk took us down 16th street to Red Hook. Our goal was Red Hook to see an art exhibit and go to Ikea. Found one of my "vote" stickers along the way on 16th street and an interesting flag at the exhibit.
